We can sometimes miss that a lot of tension is being stored within our body. Sometimes we go to a massage therapist, or we may get someone we know to give us a rub — but often we do not realise that we hold onto so much. The external assistance or treatments offered by others — no matter how ‘good’ the results, cannot undo what we must do to let go a part of ourselves.

This information has been through decades of trials within my acupuncture clinic. I discovered that once a few needles were inserted, a lot of relaxation and letting go happened. In this altered state, if I did some massage moves, the person left a lot looser than with needles alone. They also noticed that they felt vastly different than if they had just had a massage.
